A VISION TAKES SHAPE |

 |
The Boxford Arts Recreation Center will provide a centralized, recreational meeting place for Boxford residents and their guests. The center will be utilized for a variety of programs and activities including youth and adult recreation, community plays and concerts highlighting area talent, art classes for youth and adults, voting, private and civic meetings, lectures, etc. Recognizing that Boxford is part of the Tri-Town Community, residents from surrounding towns are welcome to join and participate in this facility. Although the center is intended for people of all ages, there will be a particular focus on providing a safe and supervised recreational environment for the youth. Design and Construction of BARC will be privately funded through a multi-year fundraising campaign that will draw on large and small individual and corporate donations. The long-term business plan calls for operating the facility through a combination of membership fees, fees for special events and rentals, and private donations.
