5th Annual Holiday
Breakfast with Santa and Craft Workshop

Date: December 5, 2009
Time: 8:30am - 11:30am
Place: The Spofford Pond School.
Price: Adults $5 Children $3

Each year, families look forward a fun place to kick off the Holiday season and take a break from the complexities of the world!   This year the proceeds from the Holiday Breakfast will support the development of future active recreation infrastructure for the town of Boxford.  One project currently under review by the BARC Board of Directors is an Outdoor Skateboard / Community Ice Skating Park.  We will also donate a portion of the proceeds to the Community Giving Tree, a wonderful, local Boxford based organization committed to help those Northshore families who are less fortunate than ourselves.

As usual, volunteers and donations are welcome.
Please contact Deb Adam at deb.adam@verizon.net if you are interested in helping!

News & Project Updates

In light of the current economic situation, BARC has indefinitely suspended it's efforts to build a recreation center facility in the Town of Boxford.  Instead, the BARC Board of Directors have voted to change the focus of the organization to concentrate on raising money to build smaller, more financially attainable active recreation structures for the town of Boxford.  If and when the National economic situation improves, we will once again explore and re-evaluate the feasibility of building the Arts & Recreation Center facility project in the Town of Boxford.

Sincerely,

The BARC Board of Directors
